The back view on this set is unreal

The long sleeve follows every curve from behind without a single wrinkle or pull. The way it tapers at the waist and sits cleanly above the shorts is such a considered design. The ruching detail at the sides on the front creates this incredible hourglass shape. Seen Essential has genuinely outdone themselves with this one — it's the most flattering black set I've ever owned and I've tried a lot.

Perfect for my reformer pilates classes

I needed a set that could handle the full range of reformer movements without riding up or shifting. This delivers completely. Didn't expect it to fit this well honestly

I ordered this thinking it would look fine and it ended up looking genuinely great. The ruched sides on the long sleeve create a waist definition that I wasn't expecting from a crew-neck style. The shorts are well-shaped and the whole set photographs beautifully. A bit on the pricier side but I can't argue with the results.

Wore this for a long run and it was flawless

The long sleeve is the ideal weight for running in cooler weather — enough coverage without overheating. The thumbholes kept everything in place the whole time and the fit stayed consistent throughout the entire run. The back silhouette is so clean when you're moving. Seen is genuinely doing something different with the fit on their long sleeve pieces.

Honestly just not that impressed

I kept seeing this set everywhere and eventually caved. Wore it a few times and I just don't see what all the fuss is about. The fit is fine, the black is clean, it does what activewear should do. But nothing about it felt different or special to me. I've had similar pieces from other brands that gave me the same result for noticeably less. Not a bad purchase — just not a standout one.

Really solid for gym sessions

Worn this to strength training three times now and it holds up well with no major issues. The long sleeve stays in place during overhead movements and the shorts don't roll or shift during squats and lunges. The ruched side detail looks great even mid-session. I'd recommend it — just depends what level of fitted you're used to.

Most black long sleeves look completely flat and shapeless. The ruched side seam on this one creates a waist definition that makes the whole set look intentional and elevated. From the front it's structured and sculpted, from the back it's smooth and clean. seenessential really thought this design through and it shows.

Not my wow moment but I wear it constantly

It didn't blow me away when I first tried it on. But somehow it's the set I grab before every session without thinking. The crew neck is comfortable all day, the thumbholes are genuinely useful and the shorts sit well. After a few washes it still looks exactly the same. Quietly brilliant.

Great for yoga — stays put through everything

The long sleeve doesn't ride up during any position which is genuinely rare. The fit is snug enough to stay in place but not so tight that it restricts movement. The ruched waist detail looks beautiful in standing poses. Still early days but so far I'm really impressed. Comfort is actually really good throughout a full session.

I mean… it's fine, just nothing that wowed me

The set fits well, the black is a true deep black and the ruching is a nice detail. But standing in it I kept thinking 'this is just a long sleeve and shorts.' Nothing made me feel like I was wearing something worth the premium. I wear it to the gym because it's in my wardrobe now, but I don't reach for it above other things I paid less for. Solid but unexciting.
